Editor's note: Armenia is one of the most ancient and unique countries in the Caucasus. It nestles in the highlands surrounding Mt. Ararat, which everyone who has ever read the Bible knows is where Noah's Ark came to rest after the great flood described in the Book of Genesis. It is also the first nation to adopt Christianity as a state religion.
