Beijing Subway Line S1, the city's first medium-low speed maglev metro line, becomes officially operational on Dec. 30, 2017. It connects the city's western suburban districts of Mentougou and Shijingshan, and will dock with Line 1 and Line 6 in the future. [Photo by Chen Boyuan/China.org.cn]
