Tea planting lifts villagers out of poverty in north China's Hebei

In 2012, Qu Baomin and his wife Yang Suzhen contracted 30 mu (two hectares) of lands to plant tea at the village. Over the years, Qu has dedicated to organically farming his tea garden to ensure high tea quality, by which his products have been well received in some big cities across the country, including Beijing and Tianjin. Under his leading in tea planting, over 100 people living in surrounding areas have been lifted out of poverty. (Xinhua/Mu Yu)
