Longqing Gorge Ice Lantern Festival kicks off in Beijing

The 34th Longqing Gorge Ice Lantern Festival kicks off in northwestern Beijing's Yanqing district, Jan. 18, 2020. The festival, lasting from Jan. to early March, displays 350 ice lanterns, 300 pieces of ice and snow sculpture works and 2,000 tree lanterns. In addition, a 3-D projection light show on the hills is being staged in Longqing Gorge each evening during the festival. [Photo by Guo Xiaohong / China.org.cn]
