Photo taken on June 30, 2019 shows Miyun Reservoir in the northeast suburbs of Beijing. The reservoir marked the 60th anniversary of its completion this past Tuesday. The construction of the reservoir, with a capacity of around 4.4 billion cubic meters, started in 1958 and was completed in 1960. Since 1985, it has changed its main function from flood control to supplying water to the Chinese capital. [Photo by Wan Lina/China.org.cn]
