Guangzhou, one of the largest metropolises in China, is famously dominated by soaring condo towers, densely packed alleyways and a maze of intertwining highways. However, the beautiful rural areas within the city's expansive administrative area are less well known. For example, the districts of Conghua and Zengcheng boast some of Southern China's most impressive mountains, forests and waterfalls.
