Beijing's Zizhuyuan Park buzzes with winter sports lovers

As temperatures drop, the 6th Happy Ice and Snow Season in Zizhuyuan Park (Purple Bamboo Park), Haidian district, Beijing, kicked off on Dec. 31, 2022. With over 20 ice and snow fun rides, the park attracted many families looking to experience the charm of winter sports up close. 

As with previous years, the park utilizes its Beixiao Lake for a 15,000-square-meter artificial snow field. The park's Da Lake and Nanxiao Lake, making up a total of nearly 40,000 square meters of natural ice rinks and ice slides, are also open to visitors.
