Editor's note: Three new subway lines in Beijing will enter operation starting from Dec. 15. The new lines are the first phase of Line 3 (from Dongsi Shitiao to Dongbabei), Line 12 (from Sijiqing to Dongbabei) and the first phase of the Changping Line's southern extension (from Xitucheng to Jimenqiao and Zhufangbei).
