China's Heilongjiang makes efforts to ensure smooth spring ploughing

The maintenance and overhaul of smart agricultural equipment and agricultural machinery, and the distribution of seeds and fertilizers are also being carried out in an orderly manner.

All these efforts are meant to ensure smooth spring ploughing across some 1.9 million mu (12,667 hectares) of cultivated land in the region.

In 2024, the grain production of Heilongjiang Province achieved its 21st consecutive bountiful harvest, and its total grain output exceeded 800 million tonnes for the first time, ranking the first in the country for 15 years in a row. [Photo/Xinhua]
