Frank Lampard completes New York City FC move

Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has signed for New York City FC on a two-year contract.

The 36-year-old left Chelsea at the end of last season after a hugely successful 13-season stint, during which he became the club's all-time record goalscorer with 211. He becomes New York City FC's fourth player and will join prolific Spanish forward David Villa at the new MLS franchise.

Vidal 'not going to United'

Arturo Vidal has told the Italian press that he will not be going to Manchester United this summer.

"My future? On Monday I'll talk with the coach," he is reported as saying by Tuttosport.

"I feel good. I'm not going to Manchester."

Redknapp wants Eto'o at QPR

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp wants to strike a deal to bring former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o to Queens Park Rangers.

Having been released from Chelsea at the end of last season, early reports indicated that Eto'o could return to Spain, but the 34-year-old has made it publically known of his desire to stay in London and continue to play in the Premier League.

Lukaku hints at Chelsea exit

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has moved a step closer to leaving the Stamford Bridge club by training with former club Anderlecht.

The Belgian striker spent the last two seasons on loan at West Brom and Everton respectively, and with Mourinho keen on bringing Chelsea legend Didier Drogba back to Stamford Bridge, Lukaku could be looking for a move elsewhere.

Arsenal close on Iker Casillas transfer?

Arsenal are said to be close to signing Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas after ‘making him an offer that he can't refuse'.

Speculations about the Spain keeper's future increased this week after Real Madrid reportedly signed World Cup sensation Keylor Navas – meaning either Casillas or Diego Lopez has to leave the team to make a vacant for the new keeper.
