Hudson's 37 powers Liaoning past Beijing

Liaoning defeated Beijing 108-96 at home on Sunday in a see-saw game of the 16th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league.

After a tug of war in the first three quarters, Guo Ailun's three-pointer and Lester Hudson's three-pointer plus a free throw in the fourth quarter helped secure the Liaoning's domination to the end of the game.

Hudson led both teams with 37 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Guo snatched 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Stephon Marbury led Beijing with 29 points.

Jilin, who defeated Beijing in the last round, snatched its third straight victory at home against Aolong 131-123. The foreign trio of the host team, J.A. Brown, Mahdi Kamrani and Malcolm Thomas, delivered 88 points in total. Despite Errick McCollum's 52 points, Aolong conceded to its fifth consecutive lose.

Undefeated at home, Shanghai won against Tianjin 109-98, sitting atop of the CBA table. Jimmer Fredette from the home team led the game with 42 points, and contributed eight rebounds.

In other games, Shanxi downed Jiangsu 119-113. Guangdong defeated Zhejiang 103-96. Shenzhen crashed Guangsha 123-96. Tongxi won against Guangzhou 107-98. Sichuan defeated Bayi 91-85. Fujian lost to Shandong 99-102. Xinjiang edged Qingdao 125-112.
