AC Milan 1 Borussia Dortmund 3: Aubameyang double downs Rossoneri.

The German powerhouse Dortmund claimed the victory in the first game of International Champions Cup in China as they conquered AC Milan 3-1 on Tuesday.

Nuri Sahin and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Dortmund in charge at halftime, and Aubameyang bagged a brace to settle matters after break.

Vincenzo Montella opted for veteran Marco Storari as goalkeeper rather than Gianluigi Donnarumma who renewed contract with the Rossoneri, Dortmund's newly appointed coach Peter Bosz benched Mario Gotze while young talent Ousmane Dembele started in a three-forward line spearheaded by Aubameyang.

Dortmund dominated the possession and broke the deadlock on 17 minutes as Christian Pulisic squared for Sahin to drill low first time from just outside the box.

Dortmund doubled their lead after three minutes as Aubameyang who started his career at AC Milan youth academy converted a penalty after Pulisic went down under Gabriel Paletta challenge.

AC Milan pulled one back in the 24th minute as Dortmund's wayward pass was intercepted by Carlos Bacca, the Columbian shook off several players defense and spotted Roman Weidenfeller off his line and curled it into the net with the outside of his boot.

Dortmund missed a good opportunity to extend the gap when Aubameyang sprinted down to the right and crossed for Gonzalo Castro but only to see his volley fly over the bar.

Both sides made sweeping changes in the second half while some star players like Hakan Calhanoglu, Andre Schurrle, Gotze came off the bench.

Aubameyang was on target again in the 62nd minute in a counter as Pulisic rolled the ball across from the left and found Aubameyang sliding in to fire into the net.

In the stoppages, AC Milan's substitute Patrick Cutrone squandered a promising chance after he was sent clear while Emre Mor's missile forced Storari to make an excellent save.
