"I never think about retirement, and will surely gear up for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games after my delivery in next January," London Olympic champion Yi Siling said of her future plan on the final day of shooting finals at the Chinese National Games on Friday.

The mother-to-be, 28, who ranked world No.4, finished 12th in the qualifier of 10m air rifle mixed team with Sui Gengcheng, after placing 28th in her individual 10m air rifle qualifying stage.

Yi won her first gold medal of the 10m air rifle during her first National Games in 2009, and an Olympic gold medal in London in 2012.

"I should say my third National Games was pleasant, moving and delightful," said Yi with the company of her husband, Luo Yulin.

Yi considered her competition experience here as a special education for her baby, as she never had a thought of not attending the Games.

"It's certainly a rare chance of education for our baby that few will have," said Luo, "I'm sure I will be proud of this Games for at least 60 years."

"As my model, Zhang Shan competed in the skeet event of the National Games in July, and I want to do it myself," said Yi.

The 49-year-old Zhang, who won the gold of skeet at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, took the silver medal of the event at the 13th Chinese National Games, which had some events completed ahead of the official opening ceremony.

"It's a valuable experience for me in future, for example, when I become a coach someday," Yi said, denying any possibility of retirement soon.
