Chen Siming of China staged a huge rally to beat Chou Chieh-Yu of Chinese Taipei, making the final of the Women's 9-ball World Championship in Chengmai, south China's Hainan Province, on Friday.
Lagging behind 1-6, world No. 1 Chen snatched her semifinal victory 9-8.
"It was definitely a thrilling match," said Chen, "I'm very lucky to win the game, but for me, competence is more important."
In the other semifinal, defending champion Han Yu of China lost to her compatriot, world No.9 Pan Xiaoting 9-6.
