CSL: Beijing hearts broken by late Shenzhen equalizer

Shenzhen FC drew 2-2 with Beijing Guoan while Shandong Luneng edged Changchun Yatai 2-1 in the 18th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Wednesday night.

Guoan led early from Anderson Silva's 10th-minute thunderous strike before both sides had a player sent off for serious fouls within six minutes.

Shenzhen striker Alan Kardec equalized with a fine strike from the box in the 61st minute before Zhang Yuning latched onto a throughball from Gao Tianyi, curling the ball into the corner to lift Guoan 2-1.

Li Yuanyi kept plugging away and got his reward with the equalizer at 88 minutes with a header that was inspired by Yeljan Shinaer.

Facing Luneng, Yatai rode their luck earlie

r, with Guo Tianyu having a goal ruled out by referee because of marginal offside decision in the first half.

Brazilian striker Erik gave Yatai a 1-0 lead in the 51st minute before Delgado equalized with a header for Luneng at 77.

But Guo unleashed a right-footed shot in the stoppage time, seeing Luneng seal the 2-1 win.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, Guangzhou City held a 1-1 draw with Hebei FC while Guangzhou FC ended with a goalless draw to Shanghai Port.
