Flamengo and Palmeiras have joined the race to sign unsettled Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to Brazilian media reports.
But the Brazilian Serie A giants face competition for the 29-year-old's signature from a host of English Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Newcastle, Everton and Leicester, daily newspaper O Globo reported.
It added that the former Liverpool playmaker has shown a preference for returning to his homeland in a bid to push his case for spot in Brazil's 2022 World Cup squad.
Coutinho has struggled to make an impact at Barcelona since his 160 million-euro transfer from Liverpool in January 2018.
He has made just 16 appearances across all competitions for the Blaugrana this season and manager Xavi Hernandez is said to have ruled the Brazilian out of his long-term plans.
According to O Globo, Coutinho would have to accept a significant cut to his current salary - understood to be around 30 million euros a year - for any deal to go ahead.
