Two-time world champion Lara Gut-Behrami from Switzerland added an Olympic gold medal into her collection after winning women's super-G at Beijing 2022 on Friday.

The fourth-place holder at PyeongChang 2018 finished with a time of one minute and 13.51 seconds in the one-run race. Austria's Mirjam Puchner was 0.22 seconds behind, while the bronze went to the champion's compatriot Michelle Gisin, who was 0.08 seconds further behind.

The pre-race favourite, defending champion Ester Ledecka of the Czech Republic ranked fifth by 1:13.94, shy of defending her titles in two disciplines after she had won gold in women's snowboard parallel giant slalom on Tuesday.
