Tacko Fall signs 1-year deal with CBA team Xinjiang

Senegalese player Tacko Fall has signed a one-year contract with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers for the upcoming Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) season, the team announced on Thursday.

The 26-year-old, 2.29-meter-tall center played in the NBA for the past three seasons - two with the Boston Celtics and one with the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 2.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.

The 2022-23 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) season will kick off on October 10, featuring 20 teams and a total of 42 rounds of play during the regular season.

The 20 teams will be divided into four groups with five teams each. Each team will play in-group teams three times and out-of-group teams twice. The top 12 finishers in the regular season will advance to the playoffs, which include round of 12, quarterfinals, semifinals and the finals.
