The draw for the 2024 Futsal World Cup, which will take place in September and October in Uzbekistan, was completed in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, on Sunday.

24 teams were divided into six groups during the draw ceremony held at the Registan Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Samarkand.

Defending champions Portugal, along with three previous winners - Argentina, Brazil, and Spain - will compete against other teams in the 22-day event hosted in the cities of Tashkent, Andijan, and Bukhara.

The tournament will begin on September 14 and conclude with the final on October 6.
