Spanish LaLiga club, Osasuna on Monday announced Vicente Moreno as their new first team coach for next season.
Moreno has the difficult task of replacing Jagoba Arrasata, who stepped down at the end of the season after six successful years in charge at the El Sadar Stadium.
The 49-year-old coach has signed a contract for the 2024-25 campaign after a short spell at Almeria at the start of the recently completed season.
He only lasted seven games at Almeria as the club from the south of Spain suffered a disastrous campaign, but the fact Almeria were relegated with just three wins in a season with three different coaches, implies Moreno was not fully responsible for their disaster.
Before his brief spell in the south of Spain, Moreno was at Mallorca, who he led back to the Primera Liga with back-to-back promotions.
He then dropped back to the second division to win promotion to LaLiga with Espanyol, before a spell working with Saudi Arabian side, Al-Shabab.
