Bruno Gomes and Lucas Alario scored either side of halftime as Internacional claimed a 2-0 away win over Real Tomayapo in their Copa Sudamericana Group C clash on Tuesday.
Gomes put the visitors ahead just after the half-hour mark by blasting a shot into the top-right corner after Hyoran Dalmoro's cross.
Alario saw his tame penalty attempt saved by goalkeeper Alex Arancibia in the 88th minute but the Argentina made amends a minute later by sending a close-range header beyond Arancibia.
The result leaves Internacional third in the group with eight points from five matches, trailing second-placed Delfin on goals scored.
Delfin and Internacional will play their final Group C match in Porto Alegre on Saturday (June 8).
