Brazilian forward Leonardo netted twice to lead Zhejiang FC to a 3-1 victory over Changchun Yatai in the 15th round of the Chinese Super League on Saturday night.
The game saw an early lead for Changchun when Slovenian striker Robert Beric headed in a corner kick from the right side in the 19th minute.
Zhejiang leveled the score in the 48th minute as Leonardo converted a penalty kick he earned, reviving the home team's hopes.
As the clock ticked towards the end, Zhejiang seized control. In the 89th minute, Jean Evrard Kouassi delivered a precise cross from the left, which Gao Di capitalized on, propelling Zhejiang into a 2-1 lead.
Leonardo sealed the win in stoppage time by scoring his second goal during a counterattack, setting the final score at 3-1.
Also on Saturday, Henan FC secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Beijing Guoan at home. Nemanja Covic's header in injury time ended Henan's five-game winless streak.
