Corinthians have sacked Portuguese manager Antonio Oliveira after less than five months in the role, the Brazilian Serie A club said on Tuesday.
The announcement followed a 2-0 away defeat to Palmeiras on Monday, a result that left the Sao Paulo outfit 19th in the 20-team top-flight standings.
In a brief statement on the club's official website, Corinthians said their under-20 coach, Raphael Laruccia, had taken charge of the first team on an interim basis.
Oliveira, 41, led Corinthians to 13 wins, nine draws and seven defeats.
Laruccia's first match in charge will be a home clash against Vitoria at Corinthians Arena on Wednesday.
