Chinese Super League (CSL) club Shenzhen Peng City striker Thiago Andrade has been suspended for four games after physically assaulting an opponent in a recent game.

The Brazilian winger was sent off after striking Guo Hao on the head in the 28th minute of the Shenzhen side's 3-0 away defeat to Tianjin Jinmen Tigers last Saturday.

He was also fined 40,000 yuan for his actions, according to a statement by the Chinese Football Association issued on Wednesday.

Shenzhen currently sit 11th in the CSL table with 16 points, three points above the relegation zone.
