Israeli EuroLeague club Maccabi Tel Aviv announced on Tuesday the signing of former NBA forward Jaylen Hoard on a two-year deal.
The 25-year-old French-American played the last two seasons for Maccabi's city rival Hapoel Tel Aviv, including 31 EuroCup games in which he averaged 12.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.
Hoard played college basketball at Wake Forest before joining the NBA in 2019.
Throughout his NBA career, he played in 39 regular-season games with the Portland Trail Blazers and the Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging 6.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 17 minutes per game.
He also took part in three NBA playoff games for Portland in 2020.
"Jaylen is a versatile player who made big progress in the Israeli league and the EuroCup," said Maccabi head coach Oded Kattash. "He will fit in with the team that we are building and will help us achieve our goals."
Hoard added, "I am very honored to join the EuroLeague with Maccabi, a club with a rich history and remarkable accomplishments."
Meanwhile, Hapoel Tel Aviv announced that they had parted ways with former NBA forward John Holland after just one season with the team.
