A delegation from the General Volunteers Association of Macao visited the National Aquatics Center in Beijing on June 21 to exchange experiences on organizing major sports events and volunteer services, as part of preparations for the 15th National Games to be held in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in November.

The delegation toured an exhibition at the venue, learning about its history and the collaborative efforts of people from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas Chinese in building this Olympic venue. They were also impressed by the dual-Olympic themed display, which showcased the transformation of the swimming pools into curling ice rinks for the 2022 Beijing Winter Games.

The tour included a visit to the venue's underground ice sports arena, providing the delegation with a close-up look at the venue's post-Beijing 2022 operations and sustainable development efforts.

The visit wrapped up with an exchange session in which both sides shared their experiences with volunteer services. The National Aquatics Center stressed its commitment to improving its Olympic-level volunteer services, with the goal of making further contributions to social development.
