Vasco da Gama have signed Colombian winger Emerson Rodriguez on a 12-month loan, the Brazilian Serie A side said on Tuesday.
The deal includes an option for Vasco to secure the 23-year-old on permanent deal when the loan period ends.
"I'm very grateful for this opportunity," Rodriguez said in a video posted on Vasco's official website. "I've always been a big fan of Brazilian football, of the jogo bonito."
"I'm here to give 100% every time I go onto the pitch and help the club to win trophies," he added.
Emerson has made 25 first-team appearances for Inter Miami, scoring two goals, since joining the Florida club from Millonarios in 2022. Since then, he has also had loan spells at Santos Laguna and Millonarios.
Vasco da Gama are currently 11th in the 20-team Brazilian top flight standings with 20 points from 16 games, 13 points behind leaders Botafogo.
