Danish cyclist Jonas Vingegaard of Team Visma clinched victory in the 81st Tour de Pologne in Krakow, Poland, on Sunday.

The final stage, spanning 142 kilometers from Wieliczka to Krakow, ended with a peloton finish, with Dutchman Olav Kooij (Visma-Lease a Bike) taking the stage win. Kooij outpaced Belgians Tim Merlier (Soudal Quick-Step) and Gerben Thijssen (Intermarche-Wanty) to claim his fourth stage victory in the Tour de Pologne, and his second in this year's edition following his earlier success in Prudnik.

Heading into the final day, Vingegaard held a 13-second lead over Italy's Diego Ulissi in the general classification. Sunday's race unfolded without any major surprises, as four cyclists initiated a breakaway, only to be reeled in by the peloton three kilometers before the finish.

Vingegaard crossed the finish line comfortably within the peloton, securing his overall victory in the general classification. This win adds to the 27-year-old's list of achievements, following his second-place finish in the Tour de France.

Italy's Diego Ulissi (UAE Team Emirates) and his Dutch teammate Wilco Kelderman joined Vingegaard on the podium.

"I'm very happy with the victory. I decided to compete in Poland as it was the World Tour race. My goal is to take part in the biggest events, that's why I'm here. I feel really proud. Now it's time to have a little break," Vingegaard told media after the race.
