Chengdu hold Beijing, Tianjin beat Henan in Chinese Super League

Chengdu Rongcheng were held to a 2-2 draw by Beijing Guoan, while Tianjin Jinmen Tiger squeezed past Henan FC 1-0 in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Chengdu defender Tang Miao celebrated his 300th CSL appearance in tonight's match. The 33-year-old debuted in 2012 and previously played for Guangzhou City.

Chengdu took the lead in the 24th minute when Tim Chow's pass found midfielder Romulo, who slotted the ball into the far corner. Felipe Silva doubled Chengdu's lead in the 40th minute when he fired home from inside the box.

Beijing seized control in the second half, with Cao Yongjing scoring a header from long range in the 52nd minute. 17 minutes later, Lin Liangming equalized after a swift counter-attack.

Following their draw, Chengdu and Beijing remain third and fourth in the standings with 52 and 43 points respectively, trailing Shanghai Port and Shanghai Shenhua, who have 66 and 64 points, respectively.

In the day's other matches, Wang Qiuming's goal gave Tianjin a 1-0 win over Henan, Changchun Yatai edged Nantong Zhiyun 3-2 with a last-minute goal, and Cangzhou Mighty Lions defeated Meizhou Hakka 2-1.
