An official from the Chinese Super League (CSL) club Shenzhen Peng City has been given a two-match stadium ban for having sabotaged dressing room facilities after a CSL game, the Chinese Football Association announced on Thursday.

According to a statement released by the Chinese football governing body, Zhou Cong damaged such items as ice bucket, air conditioner and door lock in the dressing room after the Shenzhen side blew a two-goal lead before losing 3-2 at Qingdao West Coast on Sunday.

Zhou was also fined 20,000 yuan (about 2,850 U.S. dollars) for his misbehavior.

The Shenzhen club was left in a precarious position following the defeat, with only one point above the relegation zone.
