FC Barcelona on Monday confirmed that forwards Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski have both suffered injuries that mean they will not be able to play for their respective countries during the international break.

Yamal has an injury to his right ankle that according to the club will sideline him for "between two and three weeks."

The injury stopped the youngster from playing in Sunday night's 1-0 defeat away to Real Sociedad and although Lewandowski did play in the game, the club reports he is suffering from a "lumbar injury" and will be out for "approximately 10 days."

That means Yamal misses Spain's final Europa League group games away to Denmark and at home to Switzerland, while Lewandowski won't play for Poland against Portugal and Scotland.

Barcelona's next La Liga game is away to Celta Vigo on November 23.
