As the sole candidates, Morocco, Portugal and Spain have sent a joint bid for the 2030 World Cup in November 2023, while Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay also confirmed as bidders to host the centenary celebration with one 2030 World Cup match in each country.

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation submitted a single bid for the 2034 World Cup.
