A delegation from the Chinese Young Volunteers Association visited the National Aquatics Center in Beijing on Dec. 20, 2024, studying the venue's role in hosting both the Summer and Winter Olympics to aid planning for China's 15th National Games.

During the tour, the delegation explored an exhibition highlighting the dual-Olympic legacy of the city and venue while learning about contributions from overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to the venue's construction.

They learned about the venue's sustainable design of installing curling rinks above the swimming pool, demonstrating how it managed to make the most of its Olympic legacy long after the Games.

The delegation and the venue staff exchanged ideas on volunteer organization and management, focusing on strategies for large-scale sporting events. The National Aquatics Center stated it will continue collaborating with volunteer organizations to ensure the success of the upcoming 15th National Games.
