The groupings and schedule for the FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2025 Division A, set to take place in Shenzhen from July 13-20, have been confirmed by FIBA Regional Office - Asia.

Host and defending champion China was drawn in Group A alongside 12-time champion South Korea, 2023 semifinalist New Zealand, and 2023 Division B winner Indonesia.
Group B will feature six-time champion Japan, who will be challenged by Australia, the Philippines, and Lebanon.
"The groups were drawn based upon the rankings of the teams in the Women's Asia Cup 2023," FIBA explains in the announcement.
China's campaign for a record 13th title will begin with an opening game against Indonesia, followed by matches against South Korea and New Zealand.
Shenzhen will also host the Division B competition, with further details to be announced soon.
