Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa has been given a five-game ban by the Spanish Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee following his red card at last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Getafe.

The Argentinean was sent off after a VAR review for a high-challenge on Getafe defender Djene in the 87th minute of the match when his side was leading 1-0.
He then gravely insulted referee Cuadra Fernandez as he left the pitch, which is the main reason his ban has been extended from one game to five.
Correa will now miss next weekend's La Liga game at home to league leader, FC Barcelona, as well as games against Espanyol, Sevilla and Valladolid.
Also because his suspension is greater than four games, he will also serve one game of the suspension in the return leg of the semi-final of the Copa del Rey, which sees Atletico entertain Barcelona on April 2nd after the 4-4 draw in the first leg.
