The Chinese Super League (CSL) wrapped up its fourth round on Wednesday. Shandong Taishan suffered a humbling 3-0 home defeat to Chengdu Rongcheng, while Beijing Guoan staged a last-gasp comeback to secure a 2-2 draw with Tianjin Jinmen Tiger.
Shandong who aimed to build on its thrilling 4-3 comeback victory in the previous round, delivered a lackluster performance at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium. Chengdu broke the deadlock just five minutes into the game when Chow Tim laid it off for Yuan Mincheng to fire home undisturbed.

Chengdu doubled its lead before halftime when Wei Shihao's overhead kick turned into an assist for Romulo to head into the empty net. Liu Yang's 68th-minute mistake let Felipe Silva score a fierce shot, making it 3-0 for Chengdu. Liu's 84th-minute dismissal after a second yellow card compounded Shandong's misery, conceding its first home defeat of the season.
Beijing Guoan snatched a 2-2 draw with Tianjin Jinmen Tiger through Yang Liyu's 92nd-minute goal. Li Lei had given Guoan a 27th-minute lead with an angled drive, but Alberto Quiles bagged a brace to help Tianjin turn around the game. However, Yang's fortuitous cross-shot in added time helped Beijing Guoan secure a point on the road.
Elsewhere, Changchun Yatai and Wuhan Three Towns shared a 1-1 draw to claim their first points of the season. Shanghai Shenhua overturned Yunnan Yukun 3-1, while Dalian Yingbo salvaged a 1-1 draw with Qingdao Hainiu. Defending champion Shanghai Port cruised past Meizhou Hakka 2-1.
In Tuesday's early fixtures, Zhejiang FC dominated Shenzhen Peng City 3-0, and Qingdao West Coast edged Henan 3-2 with a late winner.
The fifth round starts on April 5 as Shenzhen Peng City hosts Henan FC.
