Chinese international Dong Fangzhuo, who plays for Belgian
second division side Antwerps, said on Monday that he is in "good"
condition before China's Asian Cup qualifier against Palestine to
be played on Wednesday.
"I do not feel tired at all, and I hope I can play and score
tomorrow," said Dong, who was loaned to the Belgian club soon after
joining English giant Manchester United in 2004.
"Maybe because I am young, long journey can not affect me," the
20-year-old said, who showed no sign of weariness after a long
flight.
Dong arrived here on Monday and joined the Chinese national team
at the Guangzhou Tianhe Stadium after a short break.
Dong, from northeast China's port city Dalian, took to the
ground and trained before a watching Chinese head coach Zhu
Guanghu.
Asked about whether he will start in the Palestine game, Dong
said, "It's up to the head coach. But I want to play and score
goals. It is my dream all the time."
