CSL powerhouse Shandong Luneng continued its lead in the
domestic football league with a 2-1 win over the visiting Shanghai
Shenhua in the 11th round.
Former French league player Li Jinyu of the Shandong club drew
the first blood for Shandong only nine minutes into the game.
The powerful forward then put on a hat trick with another goal
minutes later to give the hosts a comfortable 2-0 lead.
But the hosts soon found themselves struggling in the face of
Shanghai's repeated attacks which helped the visitors score a goal
at the 22nd minute through Zheng Kewei.
The game was ended at 2-1 in favor of the hosts Shandong.
They're still on top of the league.
Defending champions Dalian, however, lost their power, beaten by
Xi'an Changba 4-2.
Tianjin also beat Liaoning 4-2.
