Chinese snooker prodigy Ding Junhui has moved up to the fifth
place on the players' rich list.
Nineteen-year-old Ding earned a total of 128,830 British Pounds
in world snooker tour prize money during the 2005-2006 season.
The increase in earnings is due to his outstanding performance
on the world scene.
Ding won the UK Championship last December, becoming the first
non-British or Irish winner of the prestigious event.
He also reached the semi-finals of the 2005-06 Premier
League.
Former World number one Ronnie O'Sullivan tops the money
rankings, followed by newly-crowned world snooker champion Graeme
Dott.
