Two-time Olympic taekwondo champion Chen Zhong of China is gearing up to add the Asian Games gold to her collection.

Chen, who was absent from the international scene for two years due to injury, has rejoined the national team's training camp.

She has confirmed to compete in September's World Cup Team Taekwondo Championships as a warm-up for the Asian Games, which will take place in Doha this December.

The 24-year-old won the women's taekwondo over-67 kg competition at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She successfully defended her title at the Athens Games four years later.
