Chinese players continued their winning form at the Thailand
Open, with four of them entering the quarterfinals in men's singles
at the badminton tournament.
Chen Yu, who knocked out top seed Lee Chong Wei on opening day,
overcame another Malaysia player two sets to one, 16-21, 21-12 and
21-6.
The other three men's entries, Chen Hong, Bao Chunlai and Chen
Jin, eased past their opponents 2-0 to enter the final eight.
In the women's singles, Xie Xingfang and Zhu Lin entered the
last eight as well, while Lu Lan was defeated.
Lu was the only Chinese player who was knocked out on Thursday.
Chinese players in women's doubles and mixed doubles have all gone
through to the next round.
