Data of new car registrations in Germany in 2010 released by German federal transportation authority confirmed that Europe's largest automobile market shrunk by 23.4%. The total number of cars sold in Germany during 2010 was 2.92 million, 7% less than the sales of 2007 - the worst performance since the reunification of Germany in 1990.
