Born Dec. 20, 1983, Stone was a bit of a late bloomer. First discovered at the age of 13 by the Elite Modeling Agency, she did not make the big-time until 2006, when at age 23 she signed with IMG. Since then, she has won the British Fashion Awards' Model of the Year 2010 and taken the high fashion community by storm.
Lara is not a fan of the runway because she has unusually small feet for someone of her size. As a result, her shoes are usually too big for her. She's always worried she will take a big spill as she walks down the runway.
Nevertheless, she is definitely the one of the busiest models in the world. Her high heels have stomped down runways for Shiatzy Chen, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Lanvin, Miu Miu, Fendi, MaxMara, Pollini, Prada, Anna Sui, Marc Jacobs, D&G, Givenchy, Missoni, Emanuel Ungaro, and Victoria's Secret. She was featured on the August 2009 cover of W, which declared her the most-wanted face of the moment. Vogue Paris named her as one of the top 30 models of the 2000s.
