Suning Appliance Group, founded in 1990 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a leading company in the industry of 3C (consumer appliance, computer and communication products) home appliance retail chain in China. As of 2010, Suning has opened about 1,500 chain stores, covering more than 300 cities in 30 provinces and municipalities all over the country. The company's sales revenue of 2010 reached 156.2 billion yuan (US$24.4 billion), with its brand valued at 50.8 billion yuan (US$7.94 billion).
