Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is the result of a merger in 2000 among the former HUST, Tongji Medical University, Wuhan Urban Construction Institute, and Wuhan Science and Technology Vocational College. HUST is a multi-disciplinary national key university located in Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei Province. The university is best-noted for its picturesque campus, scientific and technological research, pivotal education reform, and competitive students.
