Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II (劳斯莱斯 幻影II)

Estimated price in China: 12 million yuan (US$1,908,000)

Unveiled at Geneva Motor Show in March this year, the Phantom Series II upgrade comes more than nine years after the launch of the first-generation Phantom in 2003. Chief among the upgrades is the addition of an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, which replaces the old six-speed unit. Although the output of the Phantom's 338kW/720Nm 6.75-litre V12 engine remains unchanged, fuel economy has improved by 10 per cent on the combined cycle and CO2 emissions fall from 385 to 347 g/km. Despite weighing more than 2.5 tons, the coupe models could go from 0 to 62mph in 5.8 seconds, with a top speed of 149mph.
