Since its establishment in 1984, City University of Hong Kong has been endeavoring to provide quality education to the Hong Kong community and meet the needs of knowledge-based society. During the past almost 30 years, it has grown from a small institution, housed at temporary campus, offering nine academic programs to less than 1,000 students, to a major university with an international reputation for teaching and scholarship, enrolling over 20,000 students in programs of all levels from associate degree to postgraduate research.
