Retired Chinese male diver Tian Liang is a multiple Olympic medalist, best remembered by his fans for his outstanding performance at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, where he won the 10m platform. After acquiring his bachelor's degree in international economics and trade management from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2004, Tian was admitted by Tsinghua University to pursue his postgraduate study in sports humanities and social sciences in 2005. After his retirement in 2007, Tian became an actor. His wife, Ye Yiqian, was a "Super Voice Girl" contestant in 2005.
