Wang Bing, Chairman and founder of Ai You Foundation (Aiyou Huaxia Charity Foundation), is one of the leading investors in China. Founded in 2004, Ai You Foundation is the first Chinese private charity foundation operated by entrepreneurs. The foundation aims to help children who are born with congenital heart diseases. Since 2006, the foundation has raised more than 200 million yuan ($31.7 million).
Ai You has signed contracts with 36 medical institutions around China, providing treatment for children. The foundation has also developed an online database, which records the status of each aid recipient, from application to hospitalization to the completion of surgery. By the end of 2012, more than 13,000 children had received surgeries sponsored by Ai You.
