The National WWII Museum, U.S.A.
Located in the Central Business District of New Orleans of Louisiana, the museum opened on June 6, 2000 to celebrate the 56th anniversary of D-Day. The main exhibit spaces include the U.S. Freedom Pavilion, The Boeing Center, the Louisiana Memorial Pavilion, the Kushner Restoration Pavilion and Special Exhibits. It focuses on the Battle of Normandy as well as the contributions to the Allied victory made by the United States in World War II through a large amount of objects, documents and pictures.
